Coinsquare
UX/UI Design (all platforms) | Coinsquare | 2017 - 2018
Canada's home for digital currency. Fast, secure, and customer-driven.
Coinsquare is one of Canada's leading digital trading platforms where users can buy and sell digital currencies. The goal was to create a customer-driven platform where the user can instantly trade any currency securely.
"Design an industry leading digital currency trading experience that is a strong player between global competitors Coinbase and Bitfinex."
When I started working at Coinsquare I was the first UX/UI designer. I designed for all of the platforms (Web, iPhone, and Android). We soon realized that it was too much for one person to take on so we started to grow the team. I helped with the interview and hiring process to grow the team to 8 people and as we grew we implemented more process in order to collaborate better as a team. We worked in an Agile environment using Jira with 2 week sprints that included design reviews and critiques throughout. Our workflow was design in Sketch, Update regularly on Abstract, Prototype using Invision, Collect Research from users and usertesting.com, Post to Zeplin (for developers).
